Featured Egyptian Revival ring, who is this? Help please.

Can anyone identify the Pharaoh, queen or deity on my Egyptian Revival ring?
It is shaped like a seal.
The person looks like a reigning queen to me, but I could be wrong. It is squatting, could be wearing a skull cap. There is a royal cobra/asp on the forehead, and it is holding the royal flail and ankh symbols.
Over the person's head is a sun symbol with more cobras, and ankhs that seem to be suspended from the cobras' necks.
Someone suggested it was Hathor, but I see no resemblance with the Hathors I could find.

The ring is goldplated 935 silver, I assume German or Austrian made, but no maker's mark. Date unknown.

    Thanks for looking.:)

Thank you @cxgirl . Very nice images.
There is a resemblance, but mine doesn't have those bull's horns around the sun disc. And a different hairstyle, or skull cap, I don't even know which it is on mine.:(

Wow, AJ! I hope you find out who it is. Can't be some poor no-name pharoah with all that glitz and gleam! I'm ankhsious to know.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Here's an interesting post about the Heb Sed festival of the pharaohs. The bowl beneath the ruler on your ring appears to be the hieroglyphic symbol of the heb, representing an alabaster bowl. Unfortunately the post as a whole doesn't seem to talk much about how the bowl was related to the Heb Sed ceremony. But you can see an image of it in one of the pictures near the top part of this post.

It seems that all of the iconography on this ring is fairly generic as relates to royalty!

It may not be anyone in particular, Egyptian Revival jewelry being what it is.

I'm on my phone, so looking at small pics, but I think yours is holding a flail and sickle and I think that is Osiris.

Thanks, inh, it is the same image. Mine isn't gold, just plated, but maybe that one is. Mine certainly didn't cost that much.:D The seal on the gold one seems to be slightly concave, which mine isn't.
Thank you Fig, that is so interesting, it could be a start. That makes it more likely he or she is a pharaoh, I think.
    Yes, it does.
True. I just thought he or she looked different from many others, maybe based on an existing seal.

Thanks, it could be a sickle.
Isn't Osiris depicted as a mummy, and with a crown?
How is your journey so far?:)

@i need help , I just noticed the shank of the ring on ebay is different as well, so let's give the seller the benefit of the doubt, and say it is indeed solid gold.:)

As a mummy sometimes, not always.
Anything else and I'm going to have to look stuff up, because we've covered everything I remember. :hilarious:

Surprisingly few cars on the road, so trip is going well! About 30 minutes from our destination. Yay!

They do say it's unique, which I doubt.

Male pharaoh, I suspect, rather than goddess. Headgear could be this:

Agree with evelyb30 that it's just as likely to be an impressionistic modern artist's design than a copy of anything on the Nile. Have seen German silver bracelets with the usual symbols that were better made than anything tourists brought home from Egypt.

    Unique on ebay.;)
It could be, although it doesn't seem to have the khepresh 'wings'.
I was thinking more along these lines, the skull cap crown, seen here on the right, on Nefertiti:

My ring came with another one, same shape, but with a profile of the famous Nefertiti head. Not that it means anything per se.
20th century German jewellery is usually of very good quality. My ring has better detail than the one on ebay, and better than many others I've seen.
I just found another one, different outer shape but same image. It looks rather crude:

    Thank you, S Wolf.
Could be, but Egyptian rulers also had divine status. Much like Javanese rulers in the Hindu period (and others in other civilisations).

I believe your Egyptian is holding a crook (shepherd's hook) and flail, which are insignia of a pharaoh.

I showed your ring to my friend, an Egyptologist who lives in Egypt and he said "Just a design, not someone you can know."
