Tell me something about this crude Eros and dog secretary.
Needs some work. Wondering if it's worth the time to repair?
3 drawers behind left door and one drawer behind right.
    Roll top in good shape.

Would not call this a secretary as it is. It may have had a top section at one point, making it a secretary. I and think it is older than Edwardian period. Looks to be second to third quarter of 19th century mahogany roll top desk. From what I can see, it needs a molding on one side and a skirt along the bottom. Whether or not you have access to materials and the skills necessary to make the repairs, would determine whether or not it is worth salvaging. Solid wood skirting might not look too bad but that side molding in solid wood would not match the rest of the moldings. Doing these repairs correctly with matched veneers is all a bit trickier and time consuming. As such, I would think it would need to be a labor of love. The value of the piece is not great enough to warrant doing this correctly, IMHO.
