I searched online and I can't find what I'm looking for. I bought this very nice photo today at a thrift shop. I'm trying to age it. Since the people are basically in silhouette, you can't tell by the clothing.

On the back is the photographers stamp. Below that is the Eastman Kodak store enlargement stamp. That might be able to be dated. Would anyone know when that stamp was used in their stores?

I never heard of a Kodak store, but I can tell you that W T Morrison at that address was a bank manager in his late 50s when the 1940 census was enumerated. He and his wife were living with their married daughter and her husband who were in their 30s. I would like to think that the young couple in the picture are Mr. Morrison's daughter and son in law.

I mostly isolated the logo, but cant be sure it's entirely correct:

It's possible the camera is a Rolleiflex. This one is from 1933:

"1954.” This is the Eastman Kodak Store before the government forced them to close, because you can’t manufacture, wholesale and retail. This was on Adams St. Between Laura & Hogan Streets Jacksonville FL. I worked for Eastman Kodak in Rochester NY and had no idea that these store ever existed. Before my time anyway. I worked there in the early 70's. Hope this helps a little. EKS.png

Her clothes are 1940s -- knee-length skirt, saddle shoes.

    THANK YOU ALL.

I can't find anything on my own. I'm usually pretty good. These are excellent responses. Finding this stuff is a minor miracle to my brain.

I have a neat one I'll share soon. It's in an 80s metal frame, and I'm still trying to figure out how to take it apart to see the back of the photo. It's a cool one.
