    Hi All,

I got this very interesting heavy earthenware sculpture of an eastern merchant.
It’s unmarked. Can anyone shed some light on its origins? It's 8 inches tall by 7 wide.

    TIA,

Sorry, I cant shed much light on your figure. I do like it, but my thought is that it might be a sort of souvenir -- someplace that has markets, bazaars, etc. He looks vaguely Turkish, middle eastern?

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Interesting figure, crudely fashioned, I think. Possibly made by a student? I agree that he does have a Middle Eastern look.
