Early Western Electric/AT&T Telephone Lineman's Handsets

As is frequently the case, these rolled to the top whilst I was looking for something else. They're destined for eBay, if I can gather enough ID an' other information about them to write an accurate listing description. I hope a few of you generous folks can assist in that endeavor!
'm guessing they date from the late teens through perhaps the 1940's.
Both of them will need to have their rotten cords replaced, but I have no reason to believe they're not otherwise fully capable of operational function. Note that the Western Electric model (nickel plated) has what appears to be a push-to-talk switch, with an access panel across the inner face of the grip area. They're quite heavy, as was common in early electrical equipment; built hell-for-stout, to last! Whatever anyone can add to my small knowledge about these will be gratefully received. Some telephone freak would love to have those. If you're selling, leave them as found and let the buyer mess with them. Fabric-covered wire should date these to pre-WWII, but that's all I can tell you. The model numbers should be searchable.
