Featured Early plastic, Celluloid? brooch

    What do you think oh wise ones?.
    It’s quite big at c7cm wide and c6cm high.
    Has a curve on the plastic and the flowers are quite intricate.
    Could this be celluloid or more modern?. The clasp on the back is modern but maybe a later addition?

    Thankyou. Yes it's rather cute. It has grown on me as I didnt really like it at first ,now I do!.
    Any ideas on its age or is it newish?

    Clasp is fine. Agreed on material and date - it's about the time Lea Stein started doing Lucite stuff, although this isn't one of hers.

    It looks like there was another clasp in the middle, but it broke off, so the one on top was added. I looove lucite:)
