I picked this up at auction today and could use some help with the second mark. I believe the georg jensen mark is the 1925-1932 mark and by process of elimination, I assume that the designer is johan rohde. Although I cannot clearly identify the "R" in the center of the dots, the mark does not seem to fit any of the other designers. Does anyone have a different opinion?

I agree komo! I love jensen, especially the older stuff!

I could not find another one of these pieces out there anywhere but knew I wanted this.

I hope someone here can find something comparable.

I agree on the second mark in the ovals. Thank you! To me, it looks like a misstruck pattern number, with 445 or 454.

Harry Nielsen did create the 445 footed dish in 1926, which is absolutely gorgeous but looks very different.

Roughly five ounces and I paid $225 but I am not feeling any regrets about paying $45/ounce
