    These tired old eyes are having trouble seeing the design. A photo taken at about 45 degrees from above the rim looking down at one of the designs would be useful.

    Columbian Exposition 1882-83 maker unknown; there are a couple very similar variations

    The Columbian Exposition occurred in 1892-93. Is that the date you meant?
