    4 & 1/2 inches tall.
Holds 4 ounces filled to the rim.
2 & 3/4 inches diameter across top of the bowl.
2 & 1/2 inches diameter across the bottom of the foot.

The bowl and stem both have eight alternating 'rounded end' ovals and 'pointed end' ovals, four of each. There are four mold marks which start on the foot and run all the way to the lip of the bowl. Each mold mark runs through one of the 'pointy' end ovals.

The only word I can think of to describe the shape of the stem is "barrel".

The bottom of the foot has that common sunburst pattern. There is no wear on the bottom, so I'm suspicious that it's new glass.

I'm pretty sure the green is truly flashed, a thin layer of green glass, not stained.

I found an identical one on Etsy described as possibly Duncan and Sons, Beaded Loop or Beaded Tulip. I don't get anything similar with those names.

Is this a real EAPG pattern, old/original, something that's being reproduced or is it something entirely new?

What you have is not the original EAPG pattern.

Can't remember the pattern name, but it was made by Fostoria for Avon. I want to say early 1970s, but I'm not positive on that.

    BINGO!
    And BINGO! again.

Thankyou both. I can find a bunch now, in original boxes, too. So far haven't found any attribution to Fostoria, so maybe the boxes don't give the glass maker info or original "patterned after" info either, if it is in-fact based on old EAPG pattern glass.

Looks like you can't hardly give these away. I won't buy any more if I ever see this pattern again.

I have a pretty votive candle holder, next time the electricity goes out!

I have the Replacements Crystal stemware book at the store. I'm almost positive it was listed under Fostoria. I just quickly scanned the Replacements site for Fostoria and didn't see it.

If I can remember to look tomorrow, I will see what it said.
Or maybe someone else has the book and can take a quick look.

"R" has these under Avon. not really sure who may have made the glass for Avon on this one. Fostoria did make some of Avon's glass as did other major glass companies. The pattern was originally made by McKee Bros./National as #500 'Prize' c1901.

Ah, thankyou so much TallCakes. Knowing the name of the original EAPG it's based on helps me a lot. If I ever come across the real thing, I should be able to tell by looking at pieces on the internet to get familiar with it, and bottom wear, and that I will buy. :cat:

    laura -

I remembered to look in my book yesterday! I actually remembered - LOL
Anyway - The glass was not under the Fostoria section, but as tallcakes said, under Avon.

I don't know why I thought Fostoria, except I believe they made the Avon Cape Cod, and I have a DAD paperweight with a Fostoria label for Avon on it.

    Sorry about the misinformation.

Avon's Cape Cod line was made by Wheaton. Fostoria did make a special line of their "Coin" pattern for Avon as well as various other pieces.
