    Hello again,
I have a small creamer that has this[pictured] on the bottom. I thought DSCN5496.JPG it is plated but I filed down heavily on a corner and am still acid testing silver only. Before I ruin it, would any one know if this is silver or plated?
Thanks again for your time and any answers,
    Karl.

If its Rogers and it doesn't say sterling, it is plate...............Rogers (in any incarnation) made comparatively little sterling and it is always marked as such.

Their stuff is above average quality for plate, so I am not surprised that you are not down to the base metal (yet).

The original (eagle) Rogers (star) mark goes back a long way, but this is not one of those. This is mid-20th century plate.
