Is this an older glass and if so who made it and does the pattern have a name. Looks like bamboo leaves to me.

looks like Bamboo to me too. it also looks like it may have been a jar to hold something first. Look at "Swanky Swigs" to see if you can find a match.

Also.....Libbey did a lot of the swanky swig glasses. Yours may have an L in script on the bottom if they are libbey. they are probably 50's 0r 60's.

Yes, a cursive L is Libbey’s mark. When asking for help it is always best to include a photo of the bottom, marked or not :)

    Hi,
Again the name Swanky Swigs is being referred to many glasses that were not packaged with cheese etc. Swanky Swigs was a name given by the author Gene Florence to glassware that was used for the delivery of food products. The glassware such as Bamboo was sold as drinking glasses. So many people confuse any glassware from the 50s and 60s as Swanky Swigs. It is like calling all leaded glass shades as Tiffany. Just because people use the term it is not right. The one bad thing about the internet it is causing people to use incorrect terms just because it sells. I am done preaching now.
