Dresser / Sideboard thing?!

    Hi,

    I've acquired an "old" dresser type unit. I'm wondering if anyone can help me to find out it's age and where it originated from and what style it is.

    I've also got to track down a hinge or 2, so I'm hoping someone will know what style is is or what style the hinges are.

    Welcome to the forum.

    From the photographs provided I would say it is a 1930`s, Jacobean style sideboard, it could be even younger 1950`s.
    The hinges look to be cast iron cabinet hinges that look similar to a Seahorse.

    Now it appears to be a 1970s "Spanish" style hutch - the hinges are probably textured aluminium painted black. There is a possibility that the entire piece has been painted at some time in the past 35 years.
