Featured Dress clip age

    Thought at first this was an earring at just over an inch long. Stone appears to be glass, there’s visible sand grains in it. Not sure about the age though, 30s? Any info please? Thank you.

    That was the time of the dress clips. They disappeared when WWII started, so 30s is a safe bet.

    Kind of has a "beach glass" vibe to it!
    I would guess 1930s also.

    At that small size, it may be one of a pair of shoe clips.

    The back clip is way too long for a shoe clip. By a factor of four or so. Dress clips came in all shapes and sizes.

    We had dress clips here into the fifties especially duette style.
