Dresden porcelain bowl, black specks

    9863F701-F654-4B95-8A99-83D8B8268708.jpeg There’s a smattering of tiny black specks on the otherwise unmarred interior of this Thieme Dresden porcelain centerpiece bowl. What is the correct term for referring to the specks and what is the likely cause of them? Thank you.

    @LisaRachelle would you please return to click "Full size" on your pictures after posting? We will need a photo of the black specks too...

    I’ve just done as you suggest. The black specks are depicted in the photo. They might be hard to see and there’s not a ton of them, but they’re there.
