Picked up a little Dresden vase but have no idea what the pattern is called or if it is a rare and valuable one. Any help is appreciated.

Decoration studio of Mr. Franz Junkersdorf from Dresden; mark was registered as No.59 557 at the RWZR (Reichswarenzeichenregister) on April 15th 1903 and used until 1941.

Wow great information, but I still cannot seem to find the piece that I have anywhere to find a value on it. Being I cant find it could mean its rare, or garbage I guess.

Junkerdorf items are indeed hard to find as his studio was very small and only employed five people at its best. Many people don't even recognize the maker (who still used four main marks during his period of operation) therefore online searches often return bad results.

A reason I never comment on value is the actual point-of-sales. International marketplaces or not, goods like yours are often traded for higher amounts in Germany itself as the significance of such pieces is set in direct relation to others; for example, no true Dresden collection can be called complete without including at least one Junkersdorf item due to his different handling of certain style variations. Trade values rank accordingly, often exceeding those of Hirsch, Lamm or Wolfsohn. At least here in Germany, as said.

Chris, this site was not meant as a valuation location, but still folks can and do ask about the cost of their items.
Some here will offer an educated guess , depending upon the market, while others will refrain for speculation.
Your reasons are as good as any for not offering up a price, while still freely offering a wealth of information.
    Good on you !!!

Oh...& my coffee is resting on a Dusseldorfer Frankenheim Atl coaster......
