Dragon & Fish Jade Carving

    It seems to have some age but I doubt it is super old.

    You have it in hand and it is hard to tell from pictures, but this looks like soapstone to me. Not jade.
    Again it is hard to tell from pictures.

    Not as soft as soapstone but not as hard as jadeite. Could be nephrite or other stone. Polished areas are somewhat scratch free, the not that well polished, not that much. But the structure of old stones can change when exposed to extreme conditions.
