dove pendant

    Can anyone tell me if we are thinking silver on this large 3 1/4" etched dove pendant? (Unmarked but acid tests silver!). It's a bute! Thank you!

    Looks like a pewter Christmas ornament.
    On a long chain it could be worn as a necklace. I wear a lot of the Christmas ornaments as necklaces.

    Wait for others to comment. I could be wrong about it being an ornament.

    Seconded. I have a hunch it's a pewter ornament. The smaller ones are often worn as necklaces.

    Big ones too, on a long chain.
    I wear the candy canes, wreathes and several others at the holidays.

    I wear this one a lot.
