IMG_8139.PNG IMG_8140.PNG IMG_8140.PNG I purchased this blue/white vase with gold trim at the GW for $5.99. It's in such good condition with no chipping, etc. that I never imagined it to be very old. I was just going to stage with it since it was so beautiful and I needed something blue and white. Based upon what info I can find, the mark on the bottom dates it any where from 1891 - 1902.
Does any one know what the gold numbers on the bottom represent? Any idea of value? I'm having a hard time finding pictures and value information. Thank you :)

    Hi,
The gold numbers were placed there by the person who did the gold work. It is either an inventory number or a number assigned to the gold applier.

The Registry Number on the bottom is in the range for 1897 - date registered is not always the same as date made.

    BTW
this appears to be a crack, does it go through to the inside?

I believe you're right, it is a crack. It looks like the crack shows through the same on the inside. Seems like a strange place to crack. I was so busy looking for chips that I didn't really pay much attention to that crack, darn it. I would imagine that would negatively affect the value :(
