Does anyone recognize this castle?

I have an antique dresser tray, marked as made in Bavaria, with an image on it that I’ve been trying to figure out. As you’ll see, it has what is probably supposed to be a river running down the centre, with a picture (photo?) of a castle on one side and a windmill on the other. I presume the castle is in Germany; does anyone recognize it or, for that matter, the windmill? Have been looking at photos of German castles for awhile, without finding a match. Would love to know if this tray is a souvenir of a real place, or just something made-up. Thanks!

Looks more like a chateau, or a sumptuous hotel.

I wondered if the river is the Rhine, with Germany on one side and Holland on the other, but I know there are windmills in Germany, too...

That's a pretty distinctive scene, the schloss, the windmill, the half-timbered village, the forested hills, the canal and large body of water beyond. I would suspect it represents a region rather than a specific location.

I'm going for Colditz Castle, Leipzig on the river Mulde

There are ceramic items showing a windmill in Colditz, especially Delft Thimbles if you google it.

I like Davey's suggestion and being right on a river............!

But wonder what happened with the 'line color shift' across the tray half way down???? Unless it's like a 'second'.......

It's not a hobbyist piece, but it's not the most well done porcelain painting.

The buildings appear to be a decal and the spray paint covered parts of them. The sprayer used tape to block out the color overlap and created a hard edged line for a "horizon line" - well, that's what I see out of it.

It appears the spray went over the decal and perhaps alligatored it a bit. It does look like a "second" but there's no indication that it was ever sold as such.

I DO like the scene, but personally, I wouldn't have bought it with that HARD LINE color change half way through.....JMHO.....

The mark may be the factory, but they produced blanks as did many other Bavarian factories.

Might consider that it may be a fantasy scene created with two possibly unrelated stock transfers under all that airbrushing...

I only just now noticed the sailboat to the left of the windmill!
