I can’t find anything on this. Wondering if anyone recognizes it or the MB mark

not sure of the metal content. Kinda looks like pewter but doesn’t all at the same time

3 of the same casting put together on one brooch.....an interesting concept , but with one bird completely inside down...I can't say it works for me ...

also , the rough finish...

what's that xtra metal in the birds smaller wing ?

I have to admit though ...the balance of the composition, is eye pleasing..

it looks like the birds were meant to be something else.....where the rough edges would be less of an issue..

 

and the upside down one....it looks out of place...imo..

 

it also looks heavy as a pig........... is it ?

 

It’s not very heavy. I’d say a medium weight for the size

It could be pot metal.

 

Each bird is signed, and it looks like an older piece. That's not a Boucher mark I recognize. This pink looks old enough that boucher would have used the phrygian cap mark instead of the name. In any case, it looks more like something from a five and dime than higher end costume.
