Does anyone know what this tool is?

    Attached are a few photos of the tool in it's full size and some close up details.

    It has a metal handle that rotates

    A bit that does not seem to want to detach to be replaced

    A long chain that can be adjusted for length

    Looks like an attachment for a brace drill (manually operated drill). The chain part would probably attach to the work piece.

    Yes its a chain drill, there was another post on this a week or two ago with a video link. Have a coffee before watching video so you don't fall asleep!
