Does anyone know the era, style and use for this table?

    This table is 29" tall with a 16"x16" top. I've never seen this style of spindle legs before and was hoping one of the experts here could shed some light on what this table is used for. Along with the style and era.

    Yup, Edwardian plant stand. Aspidistra or fern or suchlike.

    It's one of those very rare Victorian Laptop desks....

    I'd say plant stand as well. Kind of looks like a small Parlour table as well.
