Does anyone know anything about this secretary desk from the Netherlands?

I would think late 19th century, maybe 1880s. But it isn't specifically Dutch, and I could be wrong, so I'll tag @Ghopper1924 .

 

Very hard to tell with the photos provided, but I’d say oak ca. 1910 or so. Rather plain, but very “atmospheric” with that patina. Desks do not sell at all well these days unless there is ample flat space for computers. I’d expect to get about $50.00 US for this in my part of the Midwest.

 

Thank you for the information. My neighbor was moving back to the Netherlands and gave it to another neighbor who then sold it to me for $30. No makers mark. I liked the looks of it and it has a working key so I can hide things in it.

 

Handy little thing. Useful size. You should enjoy owning.
