Does anyone know any info on this dresser

    Would guess 1970s era with the mahogany coming from a plantation. Value would be fairly minimal.

    Perfectly usable, but not much resale. The poster behind it might be a better choice for that.

    It is well proportioned and the wood looks rather nice in general, but those pulls are totally wrong and fighting its general Danish air. Do replace them with wooden ones. Not my cup of tea, but good looking.

    Somewhat obscure "Dateline" collection from around 1956 (the "456" is likely the production date, April 1956). Many sellers attribute it to well known designer John Van Koert but I doubt it. Van Koert designed the Profile and Counterpoint collections for Drexel and his name is prominently featured in ads and on tags, but the ads for Dateline I saw do not mention a designer. Someone changed the pulls on your dresser, which definitely hurts the value. Nice mid century dresser but probably only in the $100-$200 range, unless you want to misrepresent it as a Van Koert design.
