Do you think this is an antique locket?

This locket is being advertised as gold filled and the auction is $26 and im about to win it. Im not sure if its just vintage or antique and im not sure if its worth the price. There is no date listed and he says its from an estate sale?

What do you think of it?

You bid on it so you must like it.

If you are buying it for yourself the 26 dollar price is fair. Not a good price if you are going to try to resell it.

If you were concerned, you should have asked prior to bidding.

Agree with age - 1970ish.

 

I'm thinking 80s Art Nouveau Revival. If you like it and you're going to wear it, the price is fine. The resale price on things like this, especially for unsigned pieces, isn't high.

 

I'd say a bit older 50's or 60's.
