Do you recognize this fish character or logo?

Hi,

This guy looks familiar but I just can't put my finger on it. It looks like an L or E and possibly a 2nd letter in front of the 1975. It says LL pewter underneath and so far that is not yielding anything. Could it also be a bottle opener? I was not sure pewter would stand up to that.

A fish was/is associated with (Saint) Peter who was a fisherman and was later proclaimed to be "A fisher of men" (people).
