An auction win. These are the same images I had to go by. Luckily I found this once before and was able to see it. In this "German" lot, a little gem of a book is overshadowed by license plates. I have not received this lot yet. The cover is rather soiled and I hope the content is intact. The lot was only $46 and the other stuff will cover that cost. I like a free Art Nouveau book. The illustrations are the work of Carl Otto Czeschka, a leading member of the Vienna Secession. Hard to believe it contains these wonderful images ... http://book-graphics.blogspot.com/2014/04/die-nibelungen.html
The bidding stalled at $46 and I believe it was a license plates collector. I dislike such odd combinations of items. It worked well for me this time. I have to laugh, the pouch they described as a sandwich holder by their research. My research identified it as a Swedish folding hand saw holder. I'm also won a lot of 40 Edison cylinder records for $21, happy days!
