I found this Versace shirt at a local thrift store. The color ...changes... in the light! It is made of 95% polyester and 5% elasthane(?)

I looked up polyester shirts made by Versace - and nothing; posts either said 100% silk or didn't mention material just that it was a Versace shirt.

Is it a real Versace or a knock off? (I can sell a real Versace even if polyester)
What would I call it - the way the color changes as it moves through or in & out of light? I thought I'd call it a vintage Versace disco shirt?

I know it's not a big thing but it is interesting, right?
    Thank you!

Notice how pink/purple front of shirt is in light below & when turned at a different angle to light to photograph sleeve & cuff how dark it gets? It seems it would be a attention getter in a night club with those spinning light from disco balls!

Think the descriptor you want is "iridescent." But not disco. The line launched in 1990 and was a joint venture with Ermenegildo Zegna. I can't find a shirt that wasn't produced in national fibers -- cotton or silk -- either. I would be highly suspicious that genuine Versace. Could/would you post a photograph of both sides of care tag? Maybe clues there.

The care tag will be a big clue. In the seventies, we called that a tonic fabric.

It's next door in the big house (and it's raining now) but it's the white tag in photo above that flash washed out - it says Made in Italy 96% Polyester 4% Elasthane?

It's not just the language. It's the fabric, it's the font.
