Diana shipwreck cargo dish?

    Have this a while and am wondering if it is original.Google shows up similar dishes from Diana Shipwreck cargo from 1817.

    I havent seen one with chinese symbol or writing on back tho and am wondering what is says or means if anyone can translate please?

    It measures approx 9 inches in diameter

    something 'fishy' looking about that i think martin,

    some things look convincing, other things look suspect

    wait for others opinions though ;)

    That bottom being uniformly stained would give me pause.
