I found this last week at a local thrift store - I think the bottle has real scotch in it because cap is still sealed!
But I googled Dewar's 150th anniversary sign & also tried google image search but can't find another example - do you think this was made by the company for a bar or is something someone did as a project(maybe as a gift for a CEO or VP of Dewar's)?
Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Bar or a liquor store probably.

I wonder if it is just colored liquid in there. The bottle doesn't appear to be full?? (Unless one of the thrift employees helped themselves to a sip...)

Great that the neon part works. I think some man cave would need this.

Maybe heat evaporated some - that's not a air tight seal!

Light box. A dealer loader aka sales incentive. For use on- and off-premise and given free if account bought XX amount of cases. Would have been expensive to produce and likely only a small number produced. (That would be why you haven't found another on-line.) I can't imagine the bottle is live because of the complex state and federal laws that govern the production, storage, transportion, sale and gifting of alcoholic beverages. Also, the display would be destroyed if the bottle was accessed.

Looking at the list that the Highlander below the neon is walking at, I think we know who got the missing Scotch.:)
