Wondered if anyone could comment on this recent ebay purchase.

Have seen a few on various auction sites but wondered if anyone could tell me who the maker is and roughly the age of this piece or period of production.

I've tried to zero in on the bottom of your jug, but what I see is not clear enough to enlarge with any decent resolution......HOWEVER, I put arrows where it looks to me, to be some writing, albeit not very clear or strong by the upper/right arrow..... if you have a loupe or magnifier you might be able to make out what's showing by the lower/left arrow....looks like black letters & numbers.........good luck!!!
