Derringer Solid Bronze Replica-Barrel Rod-Cap Gun?

    Greetings Antiquers!
    Is this a Derringer Replica?
    Cap Gun?
    The barrel has a rod that can be pulled out, approximately, an inch.
    Metal: Bronze. Remnants of red paint are visible.
    2 inches long. 1 inch-height. 2.3 ounces.
    Any information would be greatly appreciated.
