Dazzeling bracelet and necklace. Glass? Crystal? Swarovski?

I got this set for 2 dollars at an estate sale. They are so pretty. I think they are handmade because the beads are not the same on the necklace as the bracelet and the necklace has a magnetic clasp, the bracelet stretches with no clasp. I think they were made to be matching set but IDK. Question is: Are they glass, crystal, Swarovski possibly? The black ones are hard to get a pic. I tried my best. They are very sparkly.

Those diamante beads are very very 1980s.

I think they are much newer than 1980s. Last 10 - 15 years.
Look very similar to jewelry imported from China that I see at trade shows.

    Doesn't mean it isn't pretty.

Fair point, there's those stretchy bracelets.

The black beads are faceted by hand, most likely Czech. The clear ones most likely not cut crystal, but glass. The rhinestone rondells are still being made, but are incredibly expensive. Would guess late 1980s from an upscale department store like Nordstrom's, Dillards, or possible more recently made by an artist who sells at shows. The clasp looks like a magnetic one?

I've seen those rhinestone roundels on very new and inexpensive items.

Cluttered, I had some decent necklaces in the 80s and 90s with those roundels, but they're everywhere now. As you pointed out, craft shows and so on. I seem to have acquired several stretchy bracelets - how did that happen?
