I’ve got this vanity by Davis Cabinet Company that I’m trying to sell. My problem is that I can’t find anything like it for sale online. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

 

It is an odd one. Style borrows from the renaissance revival period but I don't think it is anywhere near as old as a period example would be. Either way, the style is not in favor now and I don't think you should expect much for this. Even vanity styles that are in favor don't bring much. Just not a type of furniture most people want these days. Here in the semi-rural Midwest, you might see something like this for sale in a shop for $150.00 or less. At auction, or selling on the open market, you might see this for up to 1/3 less. You might do better (or worse) in other locations.

 

I agree. In these parts $150 would be top estate sale price, but only an end user would pay that.
