    IMG_4147.jpeg IMG_4148.jpeg IMG_4146.jpeg IMG_4145.jpeg Hi All,
I just purchased this enameled demitasse spoon.
I would be surprised if David Andersen's mark would be just a blob. I did find one similar with a clear mark. There is also a dot after the word Sterling as on mine. The first 2 photos are of the one I bought. The last 2 are of the one I found. What does the jury think?
    Thank you for looking. :shame:
    It's about 3.75 inches.

It is a lovely spoon, but I don't recognize the floral motif or the mark as David Andersen.
I wonder if it is American?

Tagging @DragonflyWink , who knows much more about Norwegian silver and about spoons than I do.:)

It's David Andersen, looks to me like the mark was intentionally defaced for some reason, mine (2nd from bottom at right in pic of DA pieces) bears the same marks as the other piece shown. Will say that this was one of the designs offered by American retailers starting in the 1890s, after DA and other Norwegian makers' work was so popular at the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago, and are sometimes found without the makers' marks (Chicago's Spaulding & Co. 'S&Co' mark added not particularly uncommon)...
