Date Nails

    Greetings, Nailhunter. I never knew there was such a thing as date nails!

    Can you still find them in the wild?

  6. Yes! I still find nails, though I do have to drive at least 70 miles away to find any. My Friends and I have been collecting Date Nails since 1974 and they are scarce close to where I live in Houston. That being said, there are still some around here, you just have to get lucky :)

  7. I have pulled similar washers in East Texas and they used Copper/Brass Chase Nails to hold them in. Chase nails are unique because they are made by the Chase Copper and Brass Company which also has a large Collectors following. Their Logo is a Centaur.
