I'm hoping the potties can help identify who made these urns and how old they are.

Approx. 10 1/2" tall. Both bases are marked "Made in Czechoslovakia" and have "179E" in blue. One also has some impressed numbers and letters partially hidden by a partial paper label that has a couple of horses on it.

    Thanks for your help!

    JMHO.
1960s earliest. handwriting of blue number is not czech, but could be asian. original pre-war marks for export were a round circle.
swan necks in French Empire style simply don't fit that cheap looking yellow.

Thanks for your input. The 1 in the 179 is partially rubbed off - looks like a European 1 on the other urn. I don't disagree with the dates. But I love the lemon yellow color . "De gustibus non disputandum est."

Thanks, Komokwa! (I was a Latin major in college.) They look sort of Mottaheda-ish to me.

Interesting. The label may be that of the import company. I love the colour, but it almost looks like the decoration is unfinished. Like there should be gilding on the handles and/or decoration around the neck and white part of the base. Don’t get me wrong, I like them as is.
