I have a heavy squat cut glass rose bowl and was curious as to its value. I haven't been able to find anything much online about it so I thought I would post a message here. The dimensions are 13.5" wide, 8" tall, 5" opening of hole in top. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The picture is very dark. Can you take another in better light and without all the fabric around it?

The shape is not what I traditionally think of as a rose bowl, although I am no expert on shapes.

I would call it a squat vase.

I searched different combinations of ABP, American Brilliant Period, cut glass, squat vase, etc...

This is the closeted match I could find, as far as pattern, but it's much smaller than yours.

It's from Ebay way back on December 29, 2013. No maker ID, priced at US $495.00. Don't know it ever sold or not.

Ditto the requests for better pictures with good lighting and sharp focus!

Here is the description from and the link to the old auction:
Antique American Brilliant, ABP, Cut Glass Crystal Flower/ Center Vase, Squat, 5.5 high x 8.25 inches wide,
This is a beautiful ABP, American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Crystal Vase /
Centerpiece. The vase measures approximately 5-1/2 inches tall, 8-1/4 inches across its widest, and weighs approximately 5 pounds. This American cut glass vase is in excellent antique condition.

Thanks for all the research you've done! I've tried contacting the seller on ebay who had that vase and will see what he might have to say. Thanks again.

@whteagle, the dimensions of your vase are 13.5" wide, 8" tall, I'm curious how much that baby weighs!
