Currier & Ives Train Lithograph 1933

    Hi. Would anyone have info on this lithograph. Im trying to determine if it is a genuine currier & Ives and what the value might be

    I don't know anything about it but it's hard to make out exactly what yours says or how big it is. Does it read 1933?

    For example, here is one from The Philadelphia Museum of Art that measures:

    Image: 17 3/4 x 27 3/4 inches (45.1 x 70.5 cm) Sheet: 21 3/4 x 29 15/16 inches (55.2 x 76 cm)

    Hi it does say 1933 this is a photo. It all says NY published by currier & ives

    Nah, it looks far too new to be a true Currier and Ives. I'd pay $19.95. ;)

    All seriousness though, OP can you post a larger, higher-resolution picture of the print? Those images are just too small. Do you have a picture of the back?

    Currier & Ives was liquidated in 1907. Einson & Freeman apparently produced promotional items as well as board games. Your print was probably a give-away with some promotion or other. Not an original Currier and Ives lithograph.
