Creamware?

Any thoughts on whether this is original creamware, whether the 1722 date is possible and by whom it was made?

 

That's unlikely to be a date. It's the manufacturer's inventory or design number.

 

Unfortunately the maker chose not to mark their name on it, so your best bet is to do various image searches to see if you can find more of the same which someone else has found a maker for.
