Please always show the back of any piece of art you are asking about, plus a close up of any writing or labels :)

To my eye, it is a decorative painting that likely came from a Chinese art factory. The red flags are: the elaborate frame, the haste in which it was painted, and the bold white signature written in a modern hand. More importantly... It doesn't look observed, as if painted from nature. If you do a Google Images search, you may find that it's a copy of another painting.

There appear to be lots of modern versions of 19th century British hunting scenes floating around the internet. It's a subject to be cautious with.

Something is wrong with the way the legs are positioned. The back far leg appears all wrong.

The purpose of hunting scenes is for the artist to show his/her expertise in depicting horses and dogs. The movement of all the animals is awkward and unlifelike. Sign of a copy.

Apparently a copy of a painting by Thomas Blinks. Notice how your copy has been simplified which throws off the composition. Caveat: This is also a copy.

When you compare you notice the difference, even the hoofs are painted rather crudely in my copy. In reality there is no sleekness at all in all the animals...
    Thanks much appreciated.
