Could someone help!

    I am looking for information on this piece of furniture Washstand/Dresser. I found that it looks to have knapp joints but cannot find out anything else. If anyone knows the value and age that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    Hi Did you look inside each drawer and the back for a tag or a stamp?

    Thinking that this is a ca. 1880 walnut wash stand. It was probably sold with a bed and dresser in a matching pattern.

    Yes, there are no markings or stamps

    Stamps and labels are an unusual find in Victorian furniture.

    That is not a knapp joint. Just appears to be pinned. Renaissance revival, walnut, wash stand. Might be just a tad earlier than 1880 but am comfortable with that date.
