Could someone help identify the man in this Frank Tauriello portrait?

Hi, Sean! I've taken the liberty of reposting your photograph as Full Image so it's easier for everyone to see. And, in the future, would you be kind enough to include the full frame in your photographs of artwork? It's helpful for dating. (From what I can see, yours appears to be 1950s/1960s.) As to the sitter, could be anyone but likely a local SoCal business leader. Identifying the lapel pin might help a bit. Could/would you post a close-up photograph? Also a photograph of the work's back including frame. You also might want to contact the artist's family here as they're trying to create an archive of his work.

They certainly share heavy features, don't they? I'd expect a portrait of LeMay to show him in uniform or reference his military service in some way.

Initials look like J__ Maybe a T or F, from what is visible. Would be surprised if he is anyone we've ever heard of.
