    Hi folks,
Completely out of my realm with this stuff. My Mom had a box full of stuff she let my daughters pick through. They took the majority of it but the stuff they didn't want she gave to me to sell or dispose of. I know there has to be some value here. Even though the girls took the bulk of it , there is still a lot. This seems to be the better of the leftover , but I could be wrong.
I laid a bunch out and snapped a few pictures. My question is if there is anything here that should require extra research? There are names like Hobe , Trifari ,Coro , Original by Robert and so on. I see that some pieces with these names go for good money and then others with the same name not so much.
If you see anything here that may require extra attention please let me know and I will get better pictures of the piece or pieces.
As always , thanks in advance for any help.
    Kevin.

2C7A776D-775D-40C5-BF22-1199486DED5F.jpeg I’m not familiar with jewelry, but I’m curious about these 2. Are there any makers?

No makers but the urn looking one says sterling on the back.
The other one is jade and a red stone , ruby maybe?
I will snap a couple outside natural light pictures if the rain holds up for a minute.

I took a few pictures outside. The overcast skies make good lighting but the rain is going to be here for a couple days. A whole lot of it on Sunday from what I hear.
Here are some better shots of those 2 pieces.

That's interesting, isn't it? That very light green turquoise was often used on Mexican jewelry but the design isn't traditional. Maker's mark appears to be "C." Anyone know who that is?

I snapped a few outside pictures of these before the rain started again.
The bigger brooch of this group measures a little over 3" x 2 1/2". The one with big pink stone says Original by Robert and the smaller blue one says TRIFARI. The big one has no mark that I can see.

Jivvy the research is my favorite

I'm wondering if the urn is hollow/missing a cap? It looks a bit like the jewelry pieces that carried a bit of sponge/cloth soaked in perfume -- sometimes called vinaigrettes. But it may be newer than that... not sure, thought I'd mention it.

    1. 1950s shoe clips - I get about $12 -15 in my store for them.
    2. Those look to be good ones, any marks on them.

Values will depend on how you intend to sell and where you are located.

That jade piece is definitely NOT costume. That round pink and green pin may be by a company called Delizza and Elster. I'm not sure about that foiled center stone, but they did all sorts of odd things if a customer paid them to.

BTW - that star with the pearls in it may be a lot newer than the rest.

If you have a UV light you can try that on the red stone. It looks like it could be a Burmese ruby, they fluoresce much more than other rubies. It would look like these two on either side of the white stone (opal):

I used this cheap little UV flashlight for that picture:

Are you sure? You knew which ones to select.:)
It looks like an older mark, 40s-50s maybe?
I can't find it in Bille Hougart's little book, but I only looked at last names starting with C. It could be a first name, like Carlos ....
