Cornucopia Crystal Vase

    About 9 1/2" tall. Any idea of the maker?

    I find it well made too. But so far no other examples online.

    It looks like Fostoria's Colony pattern but I don't know for sure.

    I think there's a Fostoria Colony cornucopia vase over on the R site. It has a different base than yours, but it sure is the same otherwise.

    I just looked in "Fostoria Tableware, 1944 - 1986" by Long & Seate and I don't think it is Fostoria Colony, though that was my first thought as well. That pattern isn't a straight swirl, it is more of an S swirl in that it twist back the other way at the top.

    Not sure who made it. Sorry.

    no idea really but will throw this out there: Baccarat 'Bambous Tors' is another similar swirl/twist pattern that can be confused with Fostoria 'Colony'. Tho' I haven't found a similar cornucopia/horn form.

    Thanks for all the replies. I almost got convinced that it was by Fostoria but indeed the Colony swirls are twisted back.
    I guess the maker will remain a mystery.
