This is screaming British seaside craft possibly Cornwall with their history of high quality clay. I thought it was nicer than the average despite being a very simple creation. Presumably 2016 from the bottom.
@Ownedbybear do you recognise the label or style please?
Sadly only a part label left, the top logo looks vaguely familiar but I can’t place it!. I’m surprised Google has failed me as I thought Lens would pick up similar straight away.
No big deal if it’s unattributable as it’s a charming thing in its own right but it would be nice to know.
    Thanks for looking :)
Hmm, photos in a second, iPad is sulking….

Wonderful vase! I expect you have already been looking at CMS Pottery in Ontario, the logo doesn't seem to be the same but they do pieces as one-offs in many styles. A long way from the UK, but worth hauling back in luggage, I think, by a UK tourist! If it is Cornish and you find out the potter, I'll keep an eye open for offers on ebay, I really like it!

I haven’t actually as I thought it was British but it’s a good idea to look further afield. I’ll Google them, thanks @ValerieK
I will message you when it goes on eBay.

I think, from the signature, that's a very competent student. Label might be an owner: I've had stuff which had belonged to care home residents with labels. It's a nice pot.

    That’s a good point that I hadn’t thought of.
    Cute isn’t it :)

The other reason I think it might be a good student is because it's slab built? With a bit of tube lining. Someone learning?

Yes, it’s a very basic principle but well executed.

That’s always good to know as sometimes it’s a leap of faith :hilarious:
