Copper Relief Wall Plaque

    Image025.jpg Image027.jpg Image028.jpg Image026.jpg This wall plaque is approx 6" square and appears to be solid copper (non magnetic). it weighs 700 grams. I would love to know its origins and what exactly is depicted. The clay pipe suggests it is an historic image, but what is he holding in his other hand? - it looks like a large salt shaker. There is no signature or manufacturer's marks that I can see.

    Looks like a later take on this:

    I say later because of both the finish on yours, and the ring bolt for hanging instead of being cast into the piece.
