    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Yes, more downsizing activity... please give me some descriptors for which to search in order to decide what to do with it! It's about 14 inches high at the apex of the handle, 9 inches diameter, and about 13 inches from back to front. My ol' man's mother purchased it from the old Wolf's Auctions/Gallery here in Cleveland sometime around 1990. All origin p1.jpg p2.jpg p3.jpg p4.jpg al information has been lost. Thanks, y'all!!!!!!

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Thanks, Closet, that did it. I have discovered that it's hammered copper, not very old, and is currently offered (the exact one) on ETSY and eBay for 15-20 bucks. Thanks again!

That type of ware originally came from Holland (although very likely reproduced in China now.)

No, I think yours is Dutch. 1980s perhaps. But condition is not good.

    Snap!
Sitting in my fireplace here in France - they're very easily found over here, see them all the time for 5€ - 10€ or so at fleamarkets. Very low quality, thin and tinny compared to the locally made copperware from Villedieu-les-Poêles. Bought it because we need one - excuse the state of the fireplace!

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

That looks pretty much like *MY* fireplace now... since my ol' man claimed it for a kindling holder!
    Thanks, ladies.
