Thought this was just real cool and for a couple dollars i think worth it. First edition?
Was also wondering about the Derry Collard Sticker and if it was sold there when it was new? Dates match.

With the same date (1905) on the title page and copyright page, and no indication of other printings, it looks like it could be considered the first edition "thus", meaning the first printing of this version by this publisher. There may or may not have been earlier versions published elsewhere - a real possibility as it says it is translated from an original French manuscript. Because the copyright protection has expired and the text is in the public domain (at least in the US), there are now many reprint and print-on-demand editions available. This means the content is readily available, which reduces any value an original book may have had. There is limited interest, from a collectible standpoint, in first editions of this type of technical book. Online, you will find a wide range of prices being asked, but I found no record of sales having been completed on ebay.
