Comical drawing number two from the thirties

Also a long time member off my collection but never found the artist . The style and the handwriting must be enough maybe to find out who made them ? The hotel is in the South off the Netherlands and still in business . But no guest list from that time so no further info from there . Thanks

The other looked like Vatken Po???

Maybe not an American artist since this hotel you say is in the Netherlands.

Hmmm... in the southern region of the Netherlands is the city of Valkenburg. Sooooo I suspect that writing is the hotel's name and location with nothing to do with the artist??? I've gone over a list of hotels in Valkenburg finding none starting with a Y. Here is the list. It is 4 pages.
